Statement

"My Failed Drawings, Obliterated" is an ongoing series in which I paint over my old drawings with black and white acrylic paint to create abstract blobs/mushroom clouds/atomic bombs. In each drawing that gets obliterated, the destruction of the past image makes way for a new (self-consciously uncertain) image of the present.
